Dr. Kermani is an award-winning and recognized ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with special interests in corneal and refractive services, anterior segment, glaucoma, diabetes, and cataract treatments. Dr. Kermani is certified for LASIK, PRK, and PTK Laser treatments with multiple platforms including VISX, Alcon/Summit Autonomous, Sunrise LTK lasers, Microkeratome Technologies, and the Moria Microkeratome Systems (AMVT).
Dr. Kermani's formal training and education are exemplary. Dr. Kermani received his bachelor of science degree in Biological Sciences at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by medical school training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his internship at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kermani completed his ophthalmology residency in Cleveland, Ohio at the University Hospitals of Case Western Reserve University with specialty surgical training associated with the Cleveland Clinic. His training continued in his role as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology in Ohio. Dr. Kermani has since been in private practice with clinical ophthalmology as an Eye M.D. and serves as a teacher and resource to other practicing ophthalmologists. He currently serves as the Director of the Newport Eye Physicians in Newport Beach, California.

Dr. Kermani is active on multiple hospital staffs including Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach Hospital in Huntington Beach, and Temple Hospital in Los Angeles.
